She is the author of Making Music in Britain: Interviews with Those Behind the Notes (Ashgate 2006), and co-editor with Pamela Burnard of Activating Diverse Musical Creativities: Teaching and Learning in Higher Music Education (Bloomsbury 2015) and Creative Teaching for Creative Learning in Higher Music Education (Routledge 2016).
