Alison Keith is Professor and Chair, Department of Classics, University of Toronto. She is the author of The Play of Fictions: Studies in Ovid's Metamorphoses Book 2 (1992), Engendering Rome: Women in Latin Epic, and Roman Literature and its Contexts (2000).
