James definitely grew on me to the point I was desperate to know what happened to my new best friends. Partly set in the Scottish Highlands, the rugged countryside is a character in its own right. With plenty of scenes which keep you on the edge of your seat, and a deepness which leaves you really knowing the characters; Work Trip is the perfect romantic comedy. I cannot recommend it enough. I fell for this novel from the first page. It's such a fun read throughout, and the most satisfying kind of enemies-to-lovers. The character growth for Fliss and James is beautifully done, so that as a reader, you're just itching for them both to put aside their differences and realise they're perfect for one another. The only-one-tent is a delicious take on the one-bed trope, and the gorgeous Scottish Highlands setting sweeps the reader away. The sexual tension crackles between both characters and the smutty bits are *chef's kiss*. Definitely treat yourself to this one, you won't regret it!
