Kelly Mayfield works in the technical services department at Columbus Metropolitan Library, USA. She is pursuing a master’s of library and information science at the University of Kentucky and a master of arts in theology. Mayfield is the author of Mine in China: Your Comprehensive Guide to Adopting from China. She contributed a chapter to The Fight Against Book Bans: Perspectives from the Field (Bloomsbury Libraries Unlimited, 2023).
