Ian Macgregor Morris is Senior Lecturer at the University of Salzburg. He has co-edited with Stephen Hodkinson Sparta in Modern Thought (2010). He's the author of Leonidas: Hero of Thermopylae (2003) and has published numerous articles on the reception of Sparta.
