Erik Hanson attended University of Colorado, Boulder where he received his bachelor’s degree in philosophy before moving to England to complete his MA degree in Ancient Philosophy at the University of Bristol and MPhil at Kings College London. He subsequently returned to the United States and finished his PhD in Philosophy at Purdue University. He is currently Teaching Professor at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs where he teaches courses in person and online in philosophy and world religions. When he is not teaching and doing research, Erik enjoys spending time in the Rocky Mountains with his wife and family, singing sacred choral music, mixology, and all things Tolkien.
