Amy Jan Simon has been researching, writing, and performing onstage, online, and in print about women who make and made history for over fifteen years and about motherhood and family life for over twenty-five years. With the goal of enlightening young adults about our unknown, unheralded, and forgotten women, Simon is the writer and performer of SHE’S History, the longest running solo play in Los Angeles. She has performed around the country for thirteen years in theatres, schools, universities, museums, historic sites, libraries, and military bases; and for youth groups, conferences, fundraisers, political, social justice and civic organizations.
