Steve R. Corbett served in the United States Army as an infantry officer for three decades, commanding at the company, battalion and brigade level. After his military retirement in 2007, he entered academia and has won teaching awards in both public school and collegiate education. He is active in numerous historical societies and national military museums, such as the National World War II Museum. He has formal media relations training and extensive public speaking experience.
