Ranel Schafer-Dreyer, Speech and Language Therapist, B. Speech Therapy and Audiology (2003, Stellenbosch University, Cape Town, South Africa) Ranel has worked as both a Speech and Language Therapist and Audiologist. She has considerable experience with children with speech and language delay/disorder, global developmental delay, autism, hearing impairment and stammering. Ranel has been involved in programme development for intervention and staff training and has co-written an article for the magazine Autism-Files and created training documents on early communication and interaction. She has worked in clinic settings and mainstream and special needs schools. Ranel loves being part of a multidisciplinary team that uses a child-centred approach to assessment and intervention in their work with children and their families.
