Biography
Jason King is the Beirne Director and Chair of the Center for Catholic Studies at St. Mary’s University. Drawing from over 20 years of teaching in small Catholic liberal arts colleges and universities, his research focuses on Catholic higher education, including the groundbreaking Higher Education Holistic Impact Report (HIR), which compares life outcomes of Catholic and secular college graduates. He is the author of Faith with Benefits: Hookup Culture on Catholic Campuses (2017) and co-editor of the award-winning Love, Sex, and Families: Catholic Perspectives (2021). King’s work has appeared in journals such as the Journal of Catholic Higher Education, Praxis, and Horizons. He is also a member of the editorial board for the Journal of Moral Theology.
