Chris Ryall is the Co-founder and CCO/Publisher at Image Comics imprint, Syzygy Publishing, and the former Editor-in-Chief/Chief Creative Officer at IDW Publishing. He is the writer/co-creator of Zombies vs Robots (ZvR) (2023), Onyx (2022), The Hollows (2013), Groom Lake (2009), The Colonized (2004), and other graphic novels. He is the co-author of the nonfiction books The Mighty Marvel Calendar Book: A Visual History (2024), and Origins of Marvel Comics (2024), and Comic Books 101 (2009). He has collaborated with Stephen King, Clive Barker, Francis For Coppola, and others. He was an executive Producer on Netflix’s 3-season Locke & Key. He is based in San Diego, California.
