Biography

Dr Harry Tanner earned his PhD at the National University of Ireland, Galway. He won the Anglo-Hellenic League’s Katie Lentakis Prize for his research into ancient Greek lexical semantics. He has taught Latin verse and literature at University College, Cork, as well as teaching the subject at Leighton Park School. Harry was an evangelical Christian as a teenager and took part in conversion therapy to cure him of his sexuality. He is now an atheist. The Queer Thing About Sin is his first book.
