Evelyn Scaramella is Associate Professor of Spanish and Comparative Literature and Chair of the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, Manhattan College, USA. She has published articles on Federico García Lorca, Langston Hughes, and transnational relations between Spain and the US. She is the co-editor of Avenues of Translation: The City in Iberian and Latin American Writing (2019) and New Approaches to Women’s Cultural Activity in Early 20th Century Iberia: Translation, Collaboration, Mediation (forthcoming).
