Casey Buonocore is a fifth-year doctoral candidate in Antioch University New England’s clinical psychology PsyD program. Ms. Buonocore specializes in both understanding the systemic contributing factors to sexual violence and treating sexual violence trauma. For two years, she was the student leader of Antioch’s affinity group for sexual violence awareness, which promoted campus-wide awareness-raising projects. Through her work in university counseling centers, Ms. Buonocore has worked with numerous students who have experienced sexual violence and has engaged with staff who promote violence prevention, while also implementing outreach programming on various campuses.
